Daniel Sharnoff, Director of Photography  Dan was born and raised in Northern Virginia. At a relatively early age, he cultivated a serious interest in filmmaking. This interest followed him through his studies in Communication at George Mason University and concurrently, a video editing position at a small post facility in his hometown. With bigger ideas on his mind, Dan moved to New York City in 2002 and quickly became involved in production, specifically in the camera department on independent features. He began the transition to directing photography in 2004, Since then, he has been involved in a variety of projects from narrative and documentary feature films to music videos and commercials, shorts and experimental works to web content and industrials. All along, meeting talented collaborators and planting seeds for long term working relationships. From 2005 to 2007, he shot three feature films: the award winning drama, Running Funny, The Project (*audience award winner at the 2008 SLAMDANCE film festival), and the "Cassavettes like" first feature by maverick director Salvatore Interlandi. Dan is extremely thankful to have a network of frequent and versatile collaborators who have shared in the many challenges faced in production. In addition to capturing the director's vision through the lens, embracing efficiency and true collaboration with a production team is very important to him. He hopes to be involved in projects that are as creative as they are entertaining.

May0rWest is a five member progressive punk rock group based out of North Jersey/ New York City. Encompassing a wide range of influences and styles, this ensemble is striving to deliver a taste of something new to the scene. This is evident through their fusion of heavy rock and jazz influenced guitars along with a heavy thumping hard hitting rhythm section. Powerful yet catchy lyrics are presented through a lead vocal assualt complemented by strong backup.

MayOrWest officially began in Adam's dorm room at the University of Scranton with a couple acoustic guitars and some big dreams. After a while long time friend, and rockin' guitarist, Eric Lewy joined the group and practices began in Pete's small bedroom in Hoboken, New Jersey. Soon, Dylan was asked to add innovative bass to the mix. The guys immediately knew they were onto something special and quickly secured a rehearsel space. The final component was added when Dylan called fellow UofS graduate and ex-Cataline drummer Jimmy Dowell and insisted he join their endeavor. With no argument from Jim, the band began practice as a whole in mid-November 2005 and they haven't looked back. Since then the band has been practicing, writing, and playing shows with an intense dedication. Their goals continue to grow.

MayOrWest places a lot of importance on their live act bringing an energetic, well rehearsed performance to every show. Simply stated the members of MayOrWest have an intense love for playing in front of an audience, an emotion that they wear on their sleeves and use to embrace the crowd. Equally important to a great live show is high quality songs and MayOrWest strives for the very best in their writing. The band considers writing a constant process and new songs are always in the making.
